After years of successful event planning and assisting many others with their weddings, we saw a need for a different kind of venue. We had a dream of a venue that combined beautiful French-inspired facilities with a quality of service that makes your event one that is remembered with the fondest memories. As our family started dreaming about what this venue would look like and be like, Ma Maison was born. Ma Maison, French for my house, was conceived playing on our family's strong French heritage and our sense of warm and inviting southern hospitality.  We don't just see Ma Maison as a venue, but instead, a beautiful space where we get the privilege of hosting events and weddings you have dreamed of. For us, that means averting crises before they occur and understanding traditions without being told, encouraging a timid speaker or a tearful ring bearer, and guaranteeing everyone is at the best table. Just outside of Austin, the great Texas hill country brings you to the Provence-like region of southern France, where Ma Maison is nestled on a breezy hill among beautiful oaks. We look forwarding to meeting you and helping host and celebrate the event of a lifetime.

At Ma Maison, French design and Southern hospitality combine to create the ultimate Texas Hill Country venue.

A nearly 10,000 square foot event site resting on 23 private secluded oak-covered acres, Ma Maison overlooks the scenic Lac Moise. Featuring an array of indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception sites, we offer an ideal setting for you to experience your wedding vision come to life. Our Great Hall is a 4000 square foot grand hall with exposed wooden beams and crystal chandeliers. Private alcoves and a lovely fireplace add to the elegant, intimate ambiance, while additional space on our balcony and in our catering kitchen help us accommodate large groups of guests. To pamper our couples we offer a Bride's suite with a private garden and a Groom's den with easy access to your wedding party. Three beautiful and romantic outdoor areas are available for ceremonies and celebrations, held under shaded stately live oak trees, against our lakefront backdrop, or in our antique reclaimed French gazebo. We encourage you to visit and see all the the outstanding options Ma Maison has to offer. The Grove

Nestled under a grove of live oak trees, The Grove is our largest and most popular outdoor location for your romantic Hill Country ceremony. The area can be adapted to host small ceremonies, as well as ceremonies of up to 600 guests. There is a stone altar wired to accommodate lighting and audio equipment.

The Green Cathedral

Located near our main entrance, The Green Cathedral and is a special place shown off by a reclaimed antique French gazebo. The space, surrounded by towering oaks, provides an intimate setting for outdoor ceremonies, and is a popular site for wedding party portraits and first look photographs.

The Lake View (Lac Moise)

Our Lake View ceremony site (also known as Lac Moise) doubles as a graceful transitional space for ceremonies in the Green Cathedral with receptions in our Great Hall. Couples often choose to entertain their guests here with activities for guests such as lawn games and photo booths during their cocktail hour. A blank canvas that can be uniquely personalized to your wedding theme or plan, this area is perfect for specialty activities and smaller gatherings.

The Trellis

Adjacent to the Grove, The Trellis offers another lovely transitional area for your cocktail hour and a welcome back-up site in the event of inclement weather. With a stone fire ring just outside where guests gather on a chilly evenings, the Trellis can be rented for Rehearsal Dinner or used as an outdoor reception area. From The Trellis, you'll find direct access to the beautiful Bell Tower and the private, gated, Bride's Garden.
